AIESEC, an international student platform which focuses on the self-development of high potential students and which serves as a bridge between enterprises, institutes and the talented young people in the world; organized a get together of welcome at Gaziantep University (GAÜN). Taner Nakıboğlu, the Board Member of Naksan Holding and the Honorary Consul of Rebuplic of Hungary Bahaeddin Nakıboğlu also attended the get together.

An organization administered by young leaders, AIESEC is an international NGO active since 1948, now in over 1700 universities of 107. Regarded as the largest student organization, the most important feature of AIESEC is that it doesn’t make any discrimination of language, religion, race, sex, belief and ethnical or social origin. The get together at GAÜN attracted the attention of faculty members and managers as well as the students. Organized by AIESEC GAZİANTEP in Financial and Administrative Sciences Hall, “WELCOME TO AIESEC” information meeting was opened by the speech of M.Yavuz COŞKUN, the rector of GAÜN, who noted that
AIESEC was a platform of self-development for university students and that the institution with positive influence on community had many accomplishments. The participants of the meeting; namely the members of the Advisory Board of AIESEC Gaziantep; NAKSAN HOLDING Board Members Taner NAKIBOĞLU and Bahaeddin
NAKIBOĞLU; Mehpare ŞAYAN KİLECİ of GAP Consultancy; Board Member of ÜNAL SENTETİK- Fatih KUYUCU; Assistant Professor Nurettin İBRAHİMOĞLU; Hakan KÖMÜRCÜ the former Chairman of AIESEC Gaziantep Branch and the founder of GLOBAL EDUCATION ORGANISATION(GEO) Canan SEVEROĞLU mentioned the advantages AIESEC presents for Gaziantep and the university students. Bahaeddin Nakıboğlu, Member of the Advisory Board of AIESEC, emphasizing that the AIESEC was a gate which opened to the rest of the world through its international training programs and worldscale information web, said; “The students of Gaziantep University should make the most of the advantages of this organization having basis at many universities in the world. AIESEC, which is the widest student focused organization of globalizing world, besides creating new visions for our students, also plays an important role in the creation of new job opportunities. While the youngsters of our country are discovering AIESEC, the most prestigious enterprises and institutions of the world shall discover them over this bridge and help them pursue new visions.” After the closing speech of the İ.İ.B.F Dean Prof. Dr. Yusuf AKAN, the students asked questions about AIESEC to Doğuş Çimen, the current president and a sophomore in Machine Engineering Faculty.
